Organizers
Li Zhang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MAE) and an associate faculty member in Chow Yuk Ho Technology Centre for Innovative Medicine (TIM) and T Stone Robotics Institute (CURI) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He received the B.S. degree from Zhejiang University, China, in 2000, the M.S. degree from the University of Kiel, Germany, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Basel, Switzerland, in 2007. From 2002 to 2006, he was with the Laboratory for Micro- and Nanotechnology (LMN), Paul Scherrer Institute, and also with the Department of Physics at the University of Basel. He joined the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS), Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, Switzerland as a postdoctoral fellow in 2007, and as a senior scientist from 2009 to 2012. He then joined CUHK in 2012 as an Assistant Professor. | |||||
Tiantian Xu is an Associate Professor at The Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). She received her Master Degree of Mechanics at Institut supérieur de mécanique de Paris, and Master Degree of Industry Engineering at Ecole Centrale Paris, Paris, France. Afterwards, she finished her Ph.Ddegree of Robotic at UPMC - University pierre and marie curie, Paris, France. In 2016, when she finished her Post-doc fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, she joined SIAT as an Associate Professor. |
